Assemble Teams¶
The Assemble Teams section allows authorized users to create, organize, and manage Cadet teams. Teams can contain a main roster, leadership positions, subteams, primary members, and alternate members.
Changes are only applied after clicking:
Save Changes
Team Selection¶
On the left side of the Assemble Teams screen, there are two main options:
- Add New Team
- Team Selection
The team selection box displays all teams that have already been created for the selected year.
Selecting a team will open its management page.
Creating a Team¶
To create a new team, click:
Add New Team
The system will ask for:

| Team Name | The name of the team |
| Team Motto | Optional motto displayed on reports |
| Team Image | Optional image displayed on reports |
| Subteams | Optional subteams that belong to the team |
Note
Default teams cannot have their team name changed. The team name is locked to preserve consistency with system-generated reports and references. Other team information, such as the motto, image, roster, leadership, and subteams can still be modified.
After entering the information, click:
Save Changes
The team will now be available in the team selection box.
Managing a Team¶
When managing an existing team, you can edit all information that was available during creation.
Additional options become available, including:
- Managing the main team roster
- Assigning team leadership
- Managing subteams
- Loading primary members
Main Team Roster¶
Each team contains a main roster of Cadets assigned to that team.
To add Cadets:

Add Cadets to Main Roster

Select the Cadets who should be assigned.
- Save the changes.
Once Cadets are added:
- They will automatically appear as members of the team in Manage Cadets.
- They can be assigned leadership roles.
- They can be added to subteams.
Cadets can also be added manually through Manage Cadets or mass-added through the team management page.
Team Leadership¶
After Cadets have been added to the main roster, they can be assigned leadership positions.
Available leadership positions include:
- Commander
- Primary XO
- Secondary XO
- Team Guidon
Warning
Cadets must already exist in the Main Team Roster before they can be assigned a leadership position.
Subteams¶
Subteams allow teams to be separated into smaller groups.
Examples:
- Platoons
- Squads
- Sections
- Event groups
A team can either use an existing subteam or create a new one.
Creating a Subteam¶
To create a subteam:
- Click the subteam creation button.
- Enter the subteam name.

After creating a subteam, it can be renamed or deleted from the subteam management section.
Managing a Subteam¶
Each subteam has its own roster and leadership.
Load Subteam Roster¶
Click:
Load Subteam Roster
This will display every Cadet currently assigned to the Main Team Roster.
Select the Cadets who should belong to the subteam.
Subteam Commander¶
The Subteam Commander dropdown displays all Cadets currently assigned to that subteam.
Only Cadets who are part of the subteam roster can be selected as the commander.
Primary Members¶
Click:
Load Primaries
to select the Cadets who are designated as primary members.
Primary members are the official members expected to attend and participate during events.
Cadets who are not selected as primary members are automatically classified as:
Alternates
Alternates act as backups if a primary member is unavailable.
Reports¶
The Assemble Teams section contains the following reports:
Saving Changes¶
Changes made to teams, rosters, leadership, and subteams are not applied immediately.
The user must click Save Changes to permanently save modifications.
